The most difficult challenge for all of us is creating and maintaining balance in our personal lives, in the midst of an ever-changing world. In an age of instant technology, our knowledge base, and our reality, can change in a moment. And, with so much new input to absorb and sort out, it is difficult to stay focused on the things that matter, unless we have a good sense of who we are, and what we hope to accomplish in life. A holistic perspective takes into account the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual realms, and realizes that all of them must be addressed individually before they can be synthesized into a whole life. Modern cultures, and the current emphasis on "youth," often stress the physical and emotional aspects of living. While these two facets are important, overabsorption in them can easily lead to emptiness. At every stage of life ? from the moment of birth to the moment of death ? it is vitally important to have a balanced life. Since many of us were not born into such an atmosphere, it becomes an additional challenge to build a life for which we have had no model. Thankfully, the human mind and heart can learn to attune with Spirit, and to create a place of peace and understanding from which we make conscious choices and live our daily lives. We believe that All is One, and this website reflects what we have learned, along with references to useful books and links to other websites.
